Streets of Rage – The first part in the franchise, in the center of which street battles, pumping a character and a clash with skillful fighters. The event unfolds in a metropolis, where the criminal syndicate seized power over the city. The group became stronger every day, and the police are now in the hands of criminals after a long struggle. The leader of the syndicate remained incognito, and on the streets it was unsafe even during the day.

Police sites and the city government were in the hands of bandits. Because of this, 3 people, former officers, decided to regain control of the areas with their own efforts. Blaise Fielding, Adam Hunter and Axel Stone declared war on the opponents and went outside to break into the battle and get to the leader of the terrorists. The gameplay is presented in the Beat-EM-UP 16-bit era genre. The user takes control over the central characters, moves along the corridor locations and fights with numerous rivals.

At the level, you can move in two directions, up and down. Observation is due to side scrolling. The ward performs several actions aimed at evading and attacks. For example, you can jump, quickly move a short distance, hit your foot and hand. The third attack button is designed for a special technique that causes serious damage to the bosses. Actions are combined as a blow in the air, a hook sitting and much more. In the battles, the heroes use secondary weapons, like bats, pipes, peppers, glass bottles or knives.
