Sword of the Stars: Dark Flight is a sci-fi strategy set in the distant future – the year 2405. Over the centuries since the first flight into space, humanity has made incredible advances in technology and science, allowing them to travel between galaxies in the shortest possible time. Thus, people gave themselves the opportunity to conquer more and more habitable planets. However, man turned out to be far from the only intelligent being in the Universe, and other races at the first meeting considered earthlings to be enemies.

To achieve survival for his race, the player must:

• pay attention to the construction of spaceships of various classes – from transport and industrial to military fighters and huge battleships;
• extract resources using special high-tech machines;
• build bases and colonies on habitable planets or space stations;
• engage in continuous research and discover new technologies that can give an advantage over the enemy;
• assemble powerful battle fleets and fight opponents for resources, territory and survival.

Sword of the Stars: Dark Flock takes place in a virtual world open to exploration, consisting of dozens of galaxies. All battles can be completed both in real time and using a tactical pause, which will allow the player to temporarily stop the gameplay and give orders. Each of the six available factions is unique in its own way – it has its own set of ship units, visually original buildings and a technology development tree.
