Tales of Zestiria is a traditional Japanese role-playing game that follows a hero named Sori – a man with the ability to see powerful and magical Seraphim. He becomes a Shepherd and explores ancient ruins to rid the world of the evil Hellion Beasts and the evil they are rapidly spreading. Here players will explore cities and dungeons, immersing themselves in fairy tales filled with melodrama and fierce real-time battles with the bad guys.

At some point in the gameplay of Tales of Zestiria, gamers will have to make difficult decisions, and although they do not affect progress, they will still have consequences regarding how the team will feel from an emotional point of view. Players must decide early on whether they want to help fix the bridge by using their powers in front of a large crowd (since there is a risk that people will be afraid of these “monstrous” abilities), or wait until they leave and postpone their journey ?

The gameplay offers combat rather than traditional turn-based combat. You can cope using a combination of physical attacks and magical “Artes”. While it may seem confusing at first, new elements like Armatization add depth, allowing you to merge with your Seraph partner for increased damage. In addition, the equipment system is full of strategic details that you can take advantage of. Instead of simply swapping out cotton vests for stronger plate mail and the like, players can chain items together to gain special effects and bonuses.
