Tannenberg – an independent addition to the game Verdun. The first-person shooter takes place during the First World War. The user will take part in the Battle of Tannenberg, which took place in 1914 in East Prussia. Multiplayer clashes can have 64 participants, divided into 2 sides.

The developers presented authentic military uniforms and believable equipment, adding realistic weapons of the time. The fields on which the battles took place were copied and transferred to the virtual world. Gamers are able to interact with the environment, shoot through thin surfaces, sit behind static machine guns, pick up opponents' weapons and hide in trenches. Gamers will be able to use abilities if they have captured sectors. Artillery strike, reconnaissance aircraft or supply drop have a certain cooldown time.

3 main modes in Tannenberg:

• Maneuver. Users choose a side: the Central Powers and the Entente. After this, you have to decide which combat unit to fight for. The participants’ task is to hold sectors by attacking them and then defending them. Captured control points gradually award points to the team.
• Fight of attrition. Identical to Team Deathmatch mode. There are 2 squads in the battle. Players are instantly revived after death, but the side loses one point. Both teams start with the same number of points. As soon as one group loses all points, it loses.
• Fight to the death. A shootout where it's every man for himself. Users receive equipment and rifles. After death, the participant is revived, and the one who scores the most kills in the allotted time wins.
