The Centinial Case: A Shijima Story – an adventure through a mysterious territory filled with various puzzles and secrets. The main character finds himself in a paranormal environment, where he can unravel the mysteries of death and find basic answers to questions asked during life. The gameplay is presented in the form of a detective investigation, where you need to explore the environment and interact with the outside world.

The central character begins an unusual adventure when he arrives at the scene of another murder to find the criminal. Along the way, he will investigate a series of murders that spans a century. Three different crimes were committed in 3 time periods: 1992, 1972 and 2022. Each time has its own environmental features and different mechanics of object interactivity.

In the gameplay, you will have to watch video recordings of the murder from beginning to end in order to discover hidden messages. Key information is hidden, and to find it you need to carefully study the clues. The protagonist will need to study the evidence found in the previous stages in order to build his own version of what happened. Some conclusions made by a gamer himself can lead him down the wrong path.
