The Chronicle is an indie game based on Unreal Engine 5, in which you need to explore and find the way home. And all because the main character was thrown into an unknown distant world. In his universe, Walter Miles worked in a detective agency and made progress. But one day he came home and caught his eye on a suspicious package that shouldn’t have been there. Suddenly, she transported the protagonist to a gloomy island with a marshy area and one notable structure in the center – a building belonging to a printing publication during the Second World War. But the strangest thing is that this place seemed to float in outer space. Stars, planets and asteroids moved so low that it was as if you could touch them with your hand.

Without thinking twice, the detective will investigate. You have to start with an empty inventory and a flashlight in hand. Unfortunately, there is no one to interview here: you will only be able to meet silent skeletons around and catch a few screamers. But you can look for notes through which the lore will be revealed and hints for further actions will appear. The player is allowed to walk around the territory in any order, since the project is non-linear. The main thing is to find out who is behind the kidnapping, collect enough precious crystals to activate the portal and return home as soon as possible.
