The Cyclist: Tactics crosses turn-based tactical strategy with a sports game. There are also elements of a simplified roguelike and RPG. The title is dedicated to bicycle racing. In this indie project, racers move from point A to B in sectors. Each cell represents a section of the track. It can be downhill, flat, uphill, mountainous, and so on. The point is to correctly distribute resources (energy and attack points) to successfully reach the finish line and overtake rivals. In between races, you can upgrade your players. There are 6 specializations with 5 characteristics in the video game. They can be mixed to create different builds.

In The Cyclist: Tactics, the graphics are made in the spirit of minimalism. Basically, here you need to look at various graphs and diagrams. The indie studio does not have an official license for popular tournaments, so the championships here are fictitious. They are randomly generated with each new playthrough. The names of the athletes are also fictitious. In this indie title, the user does not control one athlete, but controls a team of four-person bicycle racers. The player is asked to lead his people through grueling training and multi-day tours. The gamer can hire and fire racers, establish relationships with sponsors, and deal with finances. The user starts in an amateur league and tries to break into professional sports.
