While creating The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians – Enhanced Edition the authors were inspired by classic projects in the RPG genre, but at the same time tried to make their creation more modern. This mainly concerns the combat system and the mechanism for distributing roles between characters. As for the plot, it doesn't seem complicated. The main character is a newly arrived guard in a dungeon deep underground. But on the night of his arrival, strange events occur and all the prisoners escape. The head of the prison hastened to hide, and finally instructed the hero to find and return all the fugitives to their cells. This is where the main part of the game begins.

Features of The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians – Enhanced Edition:

• Class system – initially there are 4 classes and 12 hero specializations to choose from.
• Variability of opponents – in total, there are more than 100 types of creatures, including skeletons, gnomes, demons and other evil spirits.
• Location system – the entire territory through which the character can move is divided into levels. They, in turn, are displayed on the map in the form of labyrinths with many transitions.

Transition points are marked in the right places on the map, so the gamer knows exactly where to go. As for the combat system, it has a mixed format. The hero uses both melee weapons and magic. All available enchantments are displayed at the bottom of the screen and have corresponding icons. This could be the spell “Hammer of Justice”, “Hail of Arrows” or something more powerful. The amount of damage dealt, as well as mana consumption, is displayed when hovering the mouse cursor. While at levels, the gamer will be able to find valuable items that enhance specific characteristics or provide additional abilities. This is important, because as you move through the locations, ordinary enemies will fade into the background, and battles with bosses will begin. For each of them, you should select special tactics, because the behavior of each unit is different from the previous ones. In total, the passage will take from 25 to 50 hours, depending on the chosen difficulty and how thoroughly the player explores the dungeons.
