The Fall Part 2: Unbound provides challenging puzzles, a wonderful atmosphere and an exciting story. The plot begins exactly where it ended in the previous part. If the player is not familiar with it, a short summary is given with a brief retelling of past events. Control is carried out both from the keyboard and from the gamepad. Designed for single playthrough only.

The main character is Arid, divided into two parts, who, without her physical body, begins to travel through local networks between various computer systems in order to track down the “User” who broke into the Arid system through a gap. On her way, she will meet small clusters of darkness and loners just like her. These personalities are completely different, each of them has their own protocols, tasks, moods and experiences. The protagonist will need to inhabit them to obtain new information, solve riddles and solve puzzles, but at the same time continue to carry out their programmed work.

AI encounters during The Fall Part 2:

• Butler – constantly cleans the house of deceased owners.
• A loner is a combat drone that has fought off its own and considers itself unique.
• Companion – ready to fulfill any whims of people.

Battles can take place in two forms. Within the network, long-range tactics are used to combat the virus, which are shots and dodges. Gradually they become diverse with the discovery of new abilities and a variety of enemies. You can also engage in close combat. This is more difficult than just shooting back, because you need to hit small timings, attacking on the right or left in time and blocking the retaliatory strike.
