The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring (game) is a real-time strategy game based on the Lord of the Rings universe, invented by J. Tolkien, and named after the board game of the same name. The project has both single-player and multi-player content, which allows you to spend several dozen hours studying everything that the creators came up with. The gameplay is standard for the genre – setting up your own base and a huge army to confront enemy troops. To increase the size of the camp, it is necessary to extract two resources – food and ore. In addition, efforts need to be invested in pumping up innovations, which will allow for the upgrade of controlled units. The player will meet many iconic characters of the franchise – Frodo, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Gollum, the Nazgul King, Saruman and others.

Game modes:

• Campaign – a set of missions for both opposing factions. Most often, tasks focus on those moments of the book that were missed in the film adaptation.
• Survival – the goal is to destroy the enemy base, after which you need to kill all the units that begin to be highlighted even in the fog of war after losing all their buildings.
• Destruction – to win, you don’t need to exterminate everyone, it’s enough to raze the shelter to the ground.
• Hunger – at the beginning, the opponents have a huge amount of resources, but there are no places on the map where they can be replenished.
• Control is the struggle for places of power, which, being under control, bring credit points.
• Catapult – First there is a fight for the right to control the catapult, after which the standard game begins with the ability to use it once per minute.
• Multiplayer – all modes, except the campaign, are available in confrontations with other gamers.
