THE MADHOUSE is an indie horror game with elements of survival and stealth. The project traditionally uses a first-person view for the genre. The title is inspired by classic horror games from old consoles and PCs. It takes about 10 hours to complete. The video game has replay value, which is achieved through random enemy routes. The plot plot here is as follows. The virus began to spread around the world, and people began to disappear in the suburb of Westbridge City. The main character went outside the city on a mountain hike. While trying to climb the mountain, he slipped, fell and lost consciousness. After this, the tourist came to his senses inside an abandoned estate. He will have to survive in extreme conditions. The story has several endings. The ending depends on the player's actions.

The name of the game can be translated as Crazy House. The project is also known under the alternative name Infected Mansion (translated as Infected Mansion). It has 4 difficulty types: easy, normal, hard and crazy. The last option is the most hardcore, because in it the character instantly dies when colliding with any enemy. The hero is controlled by default via the keyboard and mouse. It can also be controlled via a gamepad. The protagonist can tune into monsters and see locations through their eyes (just like in the Forbidden Siren series). This ability must be used regularly to calculate the location of enemies and avoid encounters with them. Also here you need to look for objects, use equipment and solve puzzles.
