The Pathless is an action-adventure game in which the player has to control a bow and arrow. For users who are not particularly accurate, this may become a problem, but over time, the skill of aimed shooting will be honed more and more, and even hitting the smallest weak point will not be difficult. Additionally, assistive tags and tools can make the process even easier.

A dark curse begins to spread across the world from an ancient island where, according to legend, great spirit gods live. The Huntress, a legendary archer, decides to go there on her own to reconnoiter the situation and at the same time destroy the universal threat. Arriving there, she realizes that it will be difficult to move here, and it will not be possible to talk with the ancestors without special magic or a tool. Fortunately, she manages to find the Spiritual Mask. It allows her to see what is invisible to an ordinary person and move between small worlds, each of which belongs to a specific deity. Now she will be able to gradually cleanse them of darkness and ask for help.

The Pathless has a completely open world, but unlike usual fantasy games, there is no mini-map. The player will have to independently navigate the terrain, using only the Mask, which is capable of opening secret paths or pointing to objects imbued with magic. Therefore, it is worth first of all remembering potential landmarks in order to return to them.
