The Showdown Effect is a multiplayer action game in which there is an exclusively cooperative mode, so you will always have to fight only with real people. It's designed as a platformer with unique levels, plenty of weapons to pick up along the way, and obstacles to make the challenge even more challenging. It is up to the player to decide whether to use cunning and develop tactics or move ahead, destroying everyone indiscriminately.

Actions take place in the near future. The entertainment industry has gone too far to satisfy even the most sophisticated viewer. Therefore, a special show was created in which participants would have to survive and kill others, and the survivor would receive a huge reward. Despite the danger and potential risks, there were quite a lot of people willing and the champions took part in various stages more than once and enjoyed them. And the protagonist is one of those. This time it was decided to organize a show between professional participants, because the spectacle promises to be very exciting and the stakes are high.

The Showdown Effect player can choose one of 8 professional fighters who go into battle. You can take part in a single competition, where only one remains the winner, or in a team competition, where you need to completely destroy the opponent’s squad. In any case, the character's life is constantly in the balance, especially from inattention.
