The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone is an action/platformer that immerses users in the exciting world of their favorite Smurfs. The plot centers on the fascinating story of Handy Smurf and his team, who go in search of the stolen Green Stone from the clutches of Gargamel. This powerful artifact has the extraordinary ability to manipulate matter, but its theft has also given rise to an evil force known as Stolas, who seeks to harness its power for chaos and destruction.

Throughout the entire campaign in The Smurfs 2 – The Prisoner of the Green Stone, users travel through various regions of the Cursed Land, using teleporters and collecting shards along the way. Standing in their way are formidable opponents and challenging obstacles that require strategic use of the Smurfs' skills and the innovative SmurfoMix, an invention created by Handy Smurf himself. It provides a number of benefits, including increased speed, strength and defense, allowing the Smurfs to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies.

There are four playable heroes, each with their own distinctive traits and skills: Handy, Brainy, Dumb Smurf and Smurfstorm. Players can easily switch between these characters, using their unique qualities to effectively overcome challenges. In addition, the title supports co-op mode, allowing gamers to enjoy the adventure with a friend or family member.
