The Talos Principle VR will force players to philosophize and immerse themselves in a world of mysteries. The story begins when the main character seems to wake up from a deep, long sleep. Players know almost nothing about the character, so all that remains is to start playing. All that is clear is that the protagonist is a robot and carries out instructions from his creator. Events take place in a mysterious place filled with ancient ruins and picturesque landscapes. The coordinator remains anonymous and sends all tasks remotely. The gamer himself chooses how to play: unquestioningly follow orders or ask himself questions. Who's the hero? Who is the creator? What kind of place is it? The player will have to find out during the game.

The gameplay consists of alternately completing missions and moving deeper into the island. Due to its nature, the robot is capable of using high technologies: building mechanisms, hacking computers and much more. The player will have to stock up on attention and patience, because each puzzle becomes more difficult than the previous one. The opponents will be hostile drones that will try to harm the protagonist. You can neutralize them using lasers or simply hack them. For greater realism, it is recommended to play with virtual reality glasses, which will help you fully experience the in-game atmosphere. The open world is available for exploration; among the ruins you can find a lot of interesting information, relics, or just admire it.
