The Talos Principle is an adventure puzzle game created in the style of science fiction with philosophical elements in the passage. The main character awakens in a mysterious world. Due to deep sleep, he cannot come to his senses for a long time. His first explorations of the environment help him realize that the world contradicts itself, and also includes many futuristic technologies that are not available in reality.

Moving through ancient ruins, the central character receives a mission from his own Creator. He will have to explore this world and also solve puzzles that increase in difficulty as he progresses. The protagonist will need to find out who he really is and what his goal is in this dimension. The environment is constantly changing, presenting challenging tasks and obstacles.

The game contains 120+ levels with different locations and puzzles. Mechanics will change, as will interactions with certain interactive objects. The ward is able to control laser beams, reproduce time, divert drones and interact with the environment in other ways. The user will recognize the past of the previous civilization, apply many advanced technologies, come up with theories and find clues.
