The Universim is a city-planning strategy and part-time god simulator. In it, gamers are asked to lead a civilization through centuries on a randomly generated planet. Initially, the user is given only two people. They are called Nuggets.

In The Universim, the player is not allowed to directly control his players. He is allowed to influence them using tools. Divine skills, depending on their type (strength and anger), can encourage or punish people, or help them. Here you can heal people from diseases, send natural disasters to them, change the seasons, and so on. Basic buildings, such as dwellings, are built automatically. But places for the construction of special buildings such as power plants or farms must be specified manually.

It all starts in the Stone Age. Civilization successively passes through different eras. The user studies new technologies that allow little men to progress and move to the next stages of development. Under his leadership, people will learn to make fire, produce new types of resources and work with other discoveries. When creatures reach the space age, they are given the opportunity to travel to other planets and colonize them. These creatures also periodically encounter aliens. Some aliens turn out to be aggressive, which leads to war. Sometimes military conflicts begin due to the fault of the player’s charges. They act independently, so they need to be monitored and protected. Gradually these residents are becoming wiser.
