There Is No Light is an action adventure game set in the deadly Underworld. The mystical Church of the Great Hand has taken control of the underground kingdom. It all started when a global catastrophe occurred on the planet, forcing humanity to go underground and settle there. A group of unusual people created a religious society to blindly worship a god – the powerful Hand.

A divine being appears among the inhabitants once every 3 years and takes the newborns to himself. No one knows what happens to them in the future. God is hiding behind the great gates of the Temple. The main character is faced with the fact that his child is taken away as the chosen one. Because of this, he challenges his minions and God to get through the gates of the Temple and take the child back to him. He will travel through ancient ruins and meet the unusual inhabitants of the new world, gradually unraveling the mysteries of the past.

The central character uses different weapons to fight for his own life. Most of the weapons are aimed at close combat and have original combo attacks and statistics. Combat is based on a rage meter, which is filled during kills or hits on the enemy. If you don't fight for a few seconds, the rage will begin to disappear. This will allow you to use new abilities, be faster and stronger. Available equipment is being improved in several ways. The plot progresses non-linearly, offering gamers several endings.
