This War of Mine will show what survival looks like in a non-standard setting and not the most ordinary environment. Players are transported to a city engulfed in civil war. Chaos reigns everywhere, and those who managed to survive unite into groups to increase their chances of survival. At the very beginning, the player controls 3 randomly generated people. Each of them has a carefully developed character, which in turn influences actions, decisions made and the manner of interaction with the environment. In the future, the group may increase to 12 people.

All the heroes of the project “This War is Mine” huddle in a dilapidated house, where everyone has their own room and place to sleep. People try to do everything to arrange their premises. The main goal for the entire squad is survival. For this goal to be realized, it is necessary to take care of the condition of each character, controlling the amount of resources received, as well as the individual indicators of each hero. First of all, this is the level of heat, well-being, the presence or absence of hunger, and so on. During the daytime, you can engage in crafting and home improvement, as well as interact with each other. At night, it will be most convenient to make forays outside the house, collecting resources and provisions. If the player sees that on a particular day he will not be able to perform new useful actions, he can simply rewind time so that a new day begins. The winter period will be especially difficult, because then the need for water and a heat source to heat the house will increase. If this is not done, the characters will begin to get sick from the cold, which will eventually lead to death. The entire game is made in black and white style, which creates a special atmosphere.
