Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled – re-release of the project in the “beat them all” genre with a side view. The plot begins with a live broadcast from April, who is on Liberty Island. Suddenly, during the filming, Krang appears, using a huge exoskeleton. He steals the Statue of Liberty and goes into hiding. Because of this, the main characters decide to go to New York, where they encounter the Foot Clan. They fight them on the streets of the city.

After several clashes with henchmen, the main character meets Shredder. The enemy manages to use special equipment to throw the turtles into the past. The central characters in TMNT find themselves in several time periods, where they will fight with thematic rivals. The user will have to control 4 turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello. Each of them has unique weapons and different special skills.

Compared to the original version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the graphics have been improved, and the environment and characters have become fully three-dimensional. The perspective has also changed, the player can now move in and out of the 3D camera, changing the view. The videos are presented in a comic book style. Re-Shelled has added a survival mode, where you need to fight off an infinite number of opponents with no way to win.
