Torn Away is a tragic and touching story of 10-year-old Asya, whose childhood occurred during the brutal Second World War. She found herself in inhumane conditions of a labor camp, from where the heroine faces a difficult and long journey home. One day, when the area is bombed, Asya runs away from the camp and decides to get to her family and friends. She needs to cross 2 countries, hiding from soldiers and trying to survive in conditions of constant shooting. The plot of the game is based on real memories of children who survived the war. The story demonstrates what happened through the eyes of very fragile children who are still trying to maintain faith in goodness and humanity, remaining small rays of light in a destroyed world.

Torn Away added short inserts showing the feelings of the main character, her fears, experiences and attempts to remain human. The gamer will have to quietly sneak past armed men, quickly run away from the soldiers, or relax, remembering the horrors of the labor camp. The first-person game will make you look at the war differently, experience its nightmares and at the same time try to believe that there are kind and compassionate people left on the planet. The hero will face incessant shooting, attempts to hide from bombs and real animal fear, behind which there is only one thing – the desire to survive and hug his beloved relatives again.
