Total Immersion Racing is a sports car simulator. There are 4 difficulty types to choose from: Amateur, Professional, Legend, Extreme. The fleet consists of 17 vehicles. They are divided into 3 classes: GT, GTS, PRO. Competitions with their participation take place in real and fictional locations. You can race on tracks with both bots and live opponents. Multiplayer here is local only. It allows two players to play on the same PC via split screen. You can switch the camera. Among the available angles is the view from the salon.

In the Russian translation, the title is called Need for Speed. However, it has nothing to do with the NFS series. The main feature of this project is its sophisticated artificial intelligence. Bots do not drive perfectly and do not move along a predetermined trajectory every time. Instead, they imitate the human factor. Computer opponents behave believably and sometimes make mistakes too, making the wrong decisions. Virtual racers are also able to monitor the behavior of the gamer and adopt his driving style.

The game offers 4 modes:

• Time Trial – timed races with a free choice of locations and transport;
• Career – a career where the user gradually unlocks new tracks and cars;
• Single Race – a quick race with those tracks and cars that have already been unlocked;
• Challenge – a set of 37 tests for all car classes.
