In addition to the development of the initial settlement, in Total War Battles: Kingdom you can base additional. So, for example, you can occupy important strategic positions and strengthen them so as not to allow enemies. The peculiarity of this game is that it will be possible to engage in terraforming. You can modify the terrain, falling asleep of the river, or vice versa, digging in the ground for water passing. Thus, for example, you can expand the initial territory, or cut off the opponent’s forces from settlements.

There are five types of resources, among which, for example, wood and stone – you can use to build buildings. For gold it will be possible to acquire fighters and form an army. Resources can also be useful to create new cities. Their production is carried out from specially designed structures – sawmills and so on. You can create farms that will bring food (for example, wheat). The player can start creating a logistics network – to lay roads, thanks to which soldiers will be able to move faster.
