Tour de France 2022 is a bicycle racing simulator based on a popular championship that brings together athletes from all over the world. In the official tournament, the player will have to achieve the championship and take the yellow jersey of the leader, confronting powerful opponents. The single-player mode includes over 90 stages with unique tracks, jumps and environmental features where dangers await and incidents can occur.

The user can create their own cyclist in Pro Leader mode to participate in a major competition. In the settings you have to choose a profile between a miner, sprinter, puncher or all-rounder. Other competitions are also presented, where they have their own levels and favorites with whom you will need to fight. Multiplayer mode is supported, where participants will compete with each other in custom or classic races.

The editor allows you to create your own tournament by adjusting the number of races and rounds between the participants in the competition. The gamer is able to turn on or off incidents on the tracks, as well as customize their consequences. They affect whether a cyclist can be injured, thrown off the road, and the extent of the damage will determine whether he can continue to compete or whether he will need to stop the race. The training system creates five racers with a high level of skill, which makes the race more difficult.
