Main character Trapped Dead: Lockdown manages to enter a small American town before the military closes it for quarantine. Now the protagonist is in complete freedom to destroy the walking dead that have infested a vast area. The gameplay combines genre elements of RPG with “hack and slash”. The player will encounter thousands of monsters and will kill them in a variety of ways and using a large arsenal of weapons.

Before passing, you are offered a choice of the central character: exorcist, marshal, killer, butcher and marine. Each character has an original storyline, backstory, strengths and weaknesses. The killer is a master at using firearms. The Butcher prefers to fight in close combat and tear opponents to pieces. The Exorcist has spiritual abilities that allow him to fry and quickly neutralize opponents.

For killing enemies, completing tasks or finding hidden areas, the ward earns experience. Increasing the level allows you to upgrade the skill tree, which is different for each hero. The arsenal includes many items for melee and ranged combat. Weapons can be combined with each other, for example, deliver a stunning shot from a pistol, and then finish off the opponent with a heavy hammer. There are unusual things like a magic cross and books of spells.
