Tricolor Lovestory invites you to travel back to 2005, to the town of River City, somewhere in the depths of Japan. You will play as an unnamed high school student who has transferred to a new school for him. The protagonist’s childhood was not a pleasant one, and therefore at the beginning of the story he is full of melancholy and personal experiences. However, his days are unexpectedly brightened by two girls from his new arts and crafts class.

The first friend, Daisy, is cheerful and always cheerful, and easily finds a common language with the protagonist of Tricolor Lovestory. After all, they have known each other since they were ten years old and once even lived in the same house. She doesn't always say what's on her mind and acts more mature despite her silly façade. By the beginning of the story, Daisy, for unknown reasons, does not speak to the main character.

The second new friend will be Violet. She is cold, aloof and has the reputation of being an “ice queen” among her classmates. Which is no wonder – the girl herself recently transferred from another school, and therefore only scares off all potential friends with her tough character. But when it comes to drawing, even her teacher admires her.

The protagonist can choose which of the girls to develop a relationship with, which will affect the final ending. The gameplay does not deviate too much from the visual novel canons. However, there is still one noticeable innovation. Each choice of players from all over the world is recorded in statistics that everyone can see. This way you can compare your own decisions with those of other people.
