True Detective Solitaire is part of a series of casual card games. All titles in this franchise have an atmosphere of mystery and use a setting where noir and fantasy are mixed. This part has the following plot. A threat looms over the city. The attacker has conceived an insidious plan. He left clues for his pursuers. The antagonist hid them in solitaire games. The detective following his trail will have to study crime scenes and solve puzzles in order to understand the criminal's plan and stop him. There is an easy difficulty level for beginner players, and an expert difficulty level for more experienced gamers. Here the stages do not open quite gradually. To gain access to a specific zone, you must achieve certain progress in one of the previous ones.

In the Russian localization, the project has a longer name – Solitaire Solitaire: A True Detective. The developers have added new trophies and achievements to this part. In addition, the creators have updated the interface. There are also special tasks. The game has 120 previously unheard levels, distributed across 12 locations. The title invites you to visit a bloodhound's office, a scientist's laboratory, the backyard of a living house, a museum, and so on. Each theme offers its own card backs. The gameplay has not changed much compared to its predecessors. Users are asked to remove cards from the field in the correct order in order to empty the decks and earn points. As in earlier projects, here a chain of correct decisions triggers a combo multiplier.
