Twin Peaks VR uses immersive virtual reality technology to transport players into the fictional world of Twin Peaks. The plot and the game itself are based on the cult television series created by David Lynch. The walkthrough features 5+ locations from the series. The user will walk through the Red Room, visit the Sheriff's Department and Glastonbury Grove.

Gameplay lasts up to 2 hours of real time. There are no main tasks or any quests in the walkthrough. The gamer is able to navigate corridor locations, occasionally interact with the environment and follow directions. The voice-over gradually tells the background to the creation of the television series, as well as the main motives for designing the locations. There are several puzzles and Easter eggs carried over from important moments in the television series.

The user will observe the glass box and get acquainted with the central characters of the story. Interaction is only available at moments when it is important for further progress. In another case, the number of interactive elements in the process is minimal. Visual effects and techniques used in the film adaptation are presented. The view is in first person, and the player can see their hands if they move the controllers.
