Undying – a survival simulator in a post-apocalyptic world, gripped by a pandemic associated with the spread of a dangerous virus that turns people into the walking dead, deadly for the few survivors. The story focuses on the main character named Anling and her son Cody. Together they survive in a changed world with abandoned buildings, cars, houses and other structures and property. The adventure begins from the moment the protagonist is bitten by a zombie, thereby dooming her to a slow death. Anling does not give up and continues to fight for Cody's continued survival. The gamer will have to provide the boys with everything they need until the virtual protégé turns into one of the walkers.

The gameplay takes place with an isometric view of the environment, which allows you to see the vast space around the heroine and always be ready for an attack from enemies. The game has a mechanic for collecting items in your inventory. Much can be useful during the adventure, so you need to carefully explore all the corners in order to find the most valuable things. It is important to maintain a supply of food and water, because the heroes need to satisfy their desires and needs to maintain life in difficult times. A crafting system has been implemented, which allows you to collect the necessary tools, self-defense equipment, healing agents, and so on from trash. Leveling up is done in the form of improvement and acquisition of new abilities by the son of the main character.
