UnReal World – a roguelike survival game set in Iron Age Finland. The gameplay features elements of Finnish mythology. The main character finds himself in harsh conditions for survival. Before passing, the player will have to choose 1 of 10 cultures, as well as the purpose of the ward (trader, hermit, fisherman, farmer, trapper, etc.).

Many events are procedurally generated, such as blizzards, storms, or attacks by bandits. Such actions will lead the protagonist to quick death if solutions are not taken in time. The system of life is based on many small details. Parts of the body depend on each other; in cold conditions they can get frostbite. Animals for prey, useful vegetation and materials for construction are scattered throughout the world. To survive, you will need to get food, resources, build shelters, craft clothes, weapons and tools.

The graphics feature 2D animated sprites. Some user actions occur in a step-by-step style. The world is randomly generated, including wonders, hidden locations, dungeons, cities and dangerous areas. Instead of classes, you will need to choose the culture of the ward, which will give special abilities and characteristics. The landscape is generated believably, including an accurate northern plant kingdom. Animal behavior is close to realistic, and each type of animal is tied to the food chain.

If a character is injured, this will affect his physical activity. Crafting gradually expands as the student gains more knowledge or obtains rare materials. Instead of “CP”, a system of described injuries is presented, such as ruptures, cuts, bruises, fractures and other injuries throughout the body. The gamer will be able to create traps, weapons, install structures and temporary shelters.
