Victory and Glory: The American Civil War gives gamers the opportunity to take control of Union or Confederate forces as they fight each other. The game is a strategy that combines the possibility of choices and tactical battles. Users will move across a global geographic map with troops, creating armies and participating in battles. You will have to hire troops consisting of a variety of units and besiege enemy cities, capturing and expanding your territories.

The storyline in Victory and Glory: The American Civil War will allow you to experience the history of the American Civil War, where you must fight on land or water. Players will recruit soldiers with smooth-bore, rifled and repeating muskets, use armadillos, artillery, blockade runners, gunboats and wooden warships. The game contains about 100 “event cards” with illustrations by Keith Rocco, which influence the development of the scenario.

By influencing the North and South of the states, users will be able to:

• Participate in land and sea battles, where the emphasis is on the tactical component.
• Set up conditions or select special scenarios (history or alternative) in the campaign.
• Take control of the Confederacy or the Union by visiting Washington, Columbia, as well as Kentucky, Missouri and Maryland.
• Choose one of 4 available modes that change the initial difficulty (from easy to hardcore).
