IN Vigil: Blood Bitterness The user will go into the past of ancient civilization to solve its secrets and take revenge on the forces of evil, which once destroyed the local universe. The protagonist is torn from the thirst for blood, and ritual killings will be his main method of reprisals. He wants to free himself from this place of unknown origin in order to get answers and understand what drives this very evil, which destroys everything in its path.

Particular attention in Vigil: Blood Bitterness is given to the visual component. A drawn Gothic style is used here, which is based on the contrast of black and white. Long corridors, high walls with heavy stone doors, wide halls of unknown origin and much more is depicted precisely due to contrast techniques. As for gameplay, the main task throughout the game is to move in the indicated direction. The project is lines, so here it will not be possible to turn the wrong way or find a branch. Over time, movements will become a little more complicated, because traps will appear on the way, and for passing further the system will begin to throw puzzles. As in most analogues, the complexity of such quests increases as the main plot passes. Periodically, the main part of the gameplay will be interrupted by the KAT scenes by which the essence of what is happening is revealed, and the player receives new plot information.
