Events VODKA Open World Survival Shooter take place in the near future, somewhere in the vastness of Eastern Europe. Much of the land here is filled with deadly radiation. The radiation simply kills some of the people caught in it, but others mutate and turn into bloodthirsty and insane cannibals. Simply put, people become zombies. Due to radiation-related events, the apparatus of power is destroyed, and now primitive laws of survival exist in the vastness of the nameless country.

The main goal of the unknown protagonist V.O.D.K.A. — survive as long as possible in the surrounding lawlessness. This will not be easy to do for several reasons. Firstly, like any other person, the main character wants to eat, drink and rest. Therefore, in order not to slowly die from exhaustion, he needs to look for food for himself. Secondly, aggressive mutants are wandering around the surroundings of a small open map. Thirdly, other survivors are no less aggressive towards the protagonist. However, they are already capable of using weapons.

The main character is also allowed to fight back. Having obtained a firearm, like an AK74 or a Barrett sniper rifle, he can shoot any living creature in the area. However, cartridges are worth their weight in gold, and the noise attracts opponents. So it is often more profitable to simply hide and run away. The ending overtakes the player only when the character dies. Then you can restart the game and, as in the exemplary roguelike, the items will now be in different places, and the placement of the enemies will also change.
