Metroidvania Voltage High Society has a first-person perspective, which is unique for adventures in this genre. The player will have to travel through a destroyed city. The state fell, most of the inhabitants died, and the environment was destroyed. Now the territory is ruled by cybernetic monsters with high physical parameters and futuristic weapons, which makes them stronger than humans.

The main character fights powerful opponents, and as he progresses, he acquires new weapons and improvements. The user will gain access to new areas where stronger equipment is hidden. The gameplay combines cyberpunk elements, retro aesthetics and first-person horror. The gamer controls a nameless prisoner thrown onto an island where monsters with powerful weapons and implants that increase their characteristics live and rule.
