War Inc will allow you to become the head of your own private army, which fulfills the orders of anyone who is willing to pay a decent amount. The action takes place in an alternative universe – in the 21st century, where wars are constantly going on and no one hesitates to use the services of private military corporations. As the leader of such an organization, the gamer is obliged not only to manage it on the battlefield, but also to do business, thereby earning money, since war is the best way to get rich.

In War Inc, part of the gameplay takes place in the company's office:

• development of new types of weapons;
• search for new contracts;
• trading on the stock exchange;
• hiring of fighters and their equipment.

Trading on the stock exchange is an important element of the process, because it will allow you to buy shares of a production company, for example, tanks. Owning the lion's share of assets, the protagonist gains access to all technologies and developments. The configuration system is implemented in a very interesting way – the user independently customizes the appearance of units and equipment. Moreover, these settings are not only cosmetic in nature, but also affect effectiveness in battle. For example, having purchased a brand new helicopter, you can attach various systems to it, such as a more advanced computer or new missiles – all this will make it cooler than a similar model from the enemy. The battles themselves take place in real time and the goal of each mission is to destroy the enemy’s buildings and units.
