War Thunder – a combat simulator based on the Second World War. The main element of the project is extensive multiplayer clashes. Participants search for a match, enter the territory and select the type of equipment available. After this, they are transported to a vast location where they will fight with opponents. In session battles there are 2 teams, each with up to 16 players.

Instead of hit points, the gameplay includes a damage system. The technique is divided into several parts. For example, an airplane has wings, an engine, a body and other parts. If you hit the wing, it may skid, and control will become noticeably more difficult. An engine leak will quickly leave the aircraft without fuel. Projectiles have different characteristics, such as mass, caliber, initial speed, explosion power and others.

As soon as the user enters the game, he chooses between the first battles (tank or air), as well as the nation. Each side has completely different military equipment and upgrades. In battles you will earn experience and currency. This will help research new technologies and upgrade existing aircraft and tanks. In addition to live gamers, there are many secondary equipment on the battlefield, both sea and land.

Types of competitions in War Thunder:

• Airborne. Arcade mode features lead markers to help you aim at a moving target, a third-person view, counters, and a damage system. In a realistic battle, aiming marks and a rear view remain, but ammunition is only renewed when landing at the base.
• Tank. Arcade mode is easy to learn, suitable for beginners or a simple process. The user gets everything, a ballistics indicator, hit probability and increased tank speed. Realistic collisions are a little more complicated. Participants fight for a specific nation. In a simulated battle, the camera is in third person, fixed near the commander. There are no markers, the speed of transport is close to plausible.
• Storm. In an aerial skirmish, a team of a certain faction will have to defend a base from the gradual invasion of rivals controlled by artificial intelligence. In the tank arcade, the action takes place on land, where you will need to hold a strategic point.
