Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a real-time strategy game based on the iconic universe. Combining the elements and atmosphere of a setting where the classic fantasy world comes into contact with a vast outer space filled with millions of planets and the creatures and races living on them, you will have to explore plot mysteries and twists and turns. Acting as captain of a special expedition of the Imperium, the Adeptus Mechanicus, you must search for lost technological developments throughout the galaxy.

The narrative of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus begins on one of the Mechanicus' space travel bases, which lands on the surface of the planet Silva Tenebris. The area is presented in the form of a large burial place, which was erected by Necrons, completely devoid of feelings and consisting of metallic material, whose goal is the overthrow of all living things. Having disturbed the peace of local residents, the player will have to fight through the labyrinths of mysterious burials, in search of ancient artifacts and objects of the highest value.

The gameplay consists of completing missions in the main campaign. In each mission, the player's group, consisting of tech-priests and servitor fighters, finds themselves in an unexplored location and must head towards their goal, eliminating enemies along the way. The plot progresses in cut scenes between battles, offering to choose the direction of the squad's further movement. Each route has consequences and affects the overall history of the world. By completing one of the quest episodes, rearmament and character upgrades are available.
