Warlords 4: Heroes of Etheria is a turn-based strategy in which the player will have to fight back against a variety of magical races. There is a place for magic and real dragons, after taming them they can become the most powerful weapon of the kingdom. You will have to mainly focus on military affairs, although the distribution of resources is no less important.

The main character is the leader of a not yet very well-known kingdom. He was busy with important matters, when suddenly a messenger ran in to him and reported that orcs had attacked the nearby lands. To save defenseless locals, the protagonist himself goes to the battlefield and, with the help of his army, destroys the monsters. As it turned out, they were acting on the orders of the dark elf witch Aravain, and she could become a world threat.

Warlords IV: Heroes of Etheria unit types:

• Infantry – ordinary soldiers who move on the ground, can use swords, shields and other weapons for defense and attack, these often include dwarves and elves
• Flying – capable of moving through the air, they are often fantastic creatures or demons, excellent for storming fortresses, because they can fly over fortifications
• Archers – keep a distance from the enemy, they can confuse him due to the massive number of flying arrows and, while the squad is shielded from their hail, other squads will go on the offensive
• Cavalry are the fastest teams, because they move on horses or other creatures for riders

The protagonist’s army includes a variety of representatives of civilizations: from noble elves in shining armor to the undead, which obey the orders of necromancers. There are a total of 10 missions in the story campaign, in which you will need to enter cities and destroy them. There are only two necessary resources: gold and manna, and they must be mined in ruins.
