Welcome to PINEHILLS – a walking and driving simulator. The player finds himself amidst a dark environment, encountering paranormal phenomena and secrets hidden in a remote part of the city. The main character comes to the island, having previously learned about the possible mysticism hidden here. Being a lover of exploring unusual events and otherworldly activity, a day later he already arrives at the appointed place.

The central character encounters more unusual phenomena as he explores. The game world is open for exploration, and the user is able to find clues and solve puzzles in any order, depending on which area he decides to explore first. The gamer drives a car to quickly get to the far corners of the island. Advanced vehicle physics offers smooth controls and fast speed.

The user independently chooses the pace of passage without receiving tasks or goals. Reaching story locations, he notices a dark entity indicating certain things. There are several jump scares and other frightening moments throughout the passage. The gameplay includes not only horror elements, but also mysticism with riddles that will need to be solved in order to find out the whole truth about the mysterious place. In order not to stay here forever, the character will have to solve all the mysteries.
