Wish World looks like a construction sandbox in the spirit of Minecraft and its popular imitators. But in fact, it is a 3D platformer with a third-person view, created by just one developer. It has 3D cartoon graphics in a cubic style. The main character is controlled using the keyboard and mouse. It is possible to rotate and tilt the camera. The hero can walk in different directions, jump and push off walls. It is also capable of accelerating. In the video game, you need to collect all the wishes and bring them to the hub location. To get to them, you will have to look for keys and solve jump puzzles. In addition, here you can collect coins and other items.

The game World of Desires does not have a full-fledged plot. After the main menu, the user immediately appears on the location. The starship located at the initial level hints that you will have to control the ship's pilot. The hero travels (on foot) between the past and the future. He moves to different time periods through special glowing gates. At the stages, there are NPCs with whom you can chat. They only give hints to the player. In addition to them, there are enemies (for example: skeletons) and traps (like rolling and jumping spiked balls). The protagonist has a limited supply of health. After receiving several blows, he dies. Then he is revived at the very beginning of a particular map, and the user is forced to go through the entire mini-episode again.
