Withering Rooms – an adventure in the horror genre and 2.5D graphics. The player will have to navigate through a procedurally generated location. Interactive items, hazards, key items, and rooms are set up differently each session. Also, every night the environment completely changes and is generated anew, but with more difficult obstacles and terrifying events.

The main character finds himself in the Mostyn mansion, where paranormal creatures live, and the location is constantly changing its structure. He will need to collect useful items and materials, weapons, mystical artifacts and resources for crafting. The user can gain access to hidden passages, abandoned attics with treasures, or find themselves inside the Byzantine labyrinth located under the Mostyn building.

To stay alive, the protagonist performs rituals, preserving items from one night to the next and gradually increasing the level. As the hero progresses, he will meet neutral or peaceful minor characters, such as merchants, liars, witches and many others, each of whom has their own plans. To advance, the gamer is able to use insidious spells, create traps, enchant armor or craft equipment. As the hero travels further, he will find better equipment and more deadly dangers.
