WORLD OF HORROR can rightfully be classified as non-standard projects in terms of visual design. It is worth noting that only 1 person drew it, inspired by the work of Howard Lovecraft. Yes, there is some absurdity here (for example, there is a dog behind the counter of one of the stores), but overall this complements the concept of the project in its own way. The action takes place in the Japanese city of Shiokawa, where at one point unnatural events begin to occur. Signs of the end of the world begin to appear everywhere, and the user will have to solve this mystery by solving many puzzles.

In the original, WORLD OF HORROR was designed in black and white, but the author provided the option of changing color filters (10 different variations). As for the gameplay, it is presented in the form of random events that directly affect the user’s characteristics. Changes in indicators depend on the success of completing a particular task. For example, if you manage to read the Necronomicon, the hero will receive an increase in experience. At the same time, the outcome of each incident cannot be calculated, and everything happens randomly. So, you can completely accidentally get a decrease in strength by relaxing in the bathroom. Often, in order to complete a particular segment, it is necessary to complete a sequence of actions where certain items may be required. A separate window contains all the actions or objects available for a specific segment. The correct choice can affect the final outcome, so sometimes it’s enough just to trust logic.
