Wrath of Earth is a first-person shooter combined with constant action and tactical elements that allow you to gain an advantage over the enemy and spend a minimum amount of resources to defeat him. The system of interaction with the environment helps to hide from a dense barrage of enemy fire or destroy individual enemy units. The main character uses an exoskeleton that can recharge functions and accumulate energy from sunlight.

The futuristic arsenal includes weapons such as plasma cannons, rocket launchers, rapid-fire machine guns or powerful shotguns. Some weapons take advantage of the power of the exoskeleton, allowing you to deal more damage or achieve an alternative enhanced fire mode. In addition to frequent shootings and killing opponents, gamers need to collect items, explore the environment and complete tasks to advance the plot.

On the way, the central character will meet many surviving people. Some of them will give secondary quests and rewards in the form of weapons, energy packs or useful information. The ambient temperature, the degree of radioactivity and other features affect the protagonist’s movement speed and the power of his equipment. If the exoskeleton's defenses are compromised, the amount of damage received will increase noticeably and combat strength will decrease.
