Wreckfest – race for survival, previously the project was known as “Next Car Game”. The developers were inspired by the FlatOut franchise. Gameplay focuses on deadly vehicle competitions. The cars have a well-developed physical model and believable behavior on the road. Every violent collision results in visible external and technical faults.

By passing levels, the user earns experience and money, for which he will be able to open access to new mechanisms and spare parts. There are modes such as multiplayer, career and custom race. There are more than 10 different races. In the story campaign you have to start as a racer of a used and bad car. New cars and improvements for them are gradually unlocked, and the difficulty increases. Artificial intelligence takes advantage of every opportunity to harm the protagonist or knock other participants out of the competition.

The machines differ in their technical characteristics. Control and speed will be affected by damage received during collisions. In the “demolition derby” mode, each participant tries to survive and crash the opponent's car so much that he will not be able to drive. There are 5 competitions in the career, from simple to hardcore. Each championship offers unique conditions for victory and several races. For successful completion, the user will unlock new vehicles. In free mode, the race conditions are configured, such as the number of opponents, laps and rules.
