X Invader combines action and hacking in the digital world. The user plays the role of a master hacker named X, who has to fight various enemies and bosses that interfere with his hacking. It implements a rogue-lite system that allows the user to customize their combat physique using different weapons and hacking add-ons.

The title offers fast-paced and exciting hack and slash gameplay, where the gamer can use various skills and abilities to destroy enemies. There is also a random selection and reward system that allows you to create a new build for each task. The game requires the user to adapt to different situations and opponents, as well as find the best combination of weapons and add-ons.

There is one stage available in the prologue, and more stages will be added in the full version. There's also a story mode that follows X's adventures around the world. There are five types of avatars, three types of weapons and six add-ons. There are also four bosses that test skills and strategies.
