Yaminabe Aries – Tail Tale – a visual novel that takes the player to a fictional world. The planet consists of floating continents, inhabited by races of kemono, each with a different color of fur. The story follows a faction better known as Mao. At different points on the continent are two large cities: Zarpat and Bastalk. The story centers on a guy named Rick, who lives in Bastalk.

The central character has long dreamed of building his own plane to go on a round-the-world trip and explore the world. The local civilization has not reached such technologies that allow moving through the air at high speeds. One day, the protagonist was collecting medicinal herbs to take them to his younger brother Nap. On the way home, he meets a girl named Ran, who lived in Zarpat. Life after meeting this girl changes upside down.

The central characters in Yaminabe Aries – Tail Tale are:

• Rick is the protagonist, born in Bastalk and has lived here all his life. His father died in a plane crash during an experiment, and his son is trying to finish the job he started.
• Zach is Rick's younger brother who has a lung disease and needs to stay in bed most of the time. He often searches for hidden or forbidden literature about flying machines and the corners of the outside world.
• Maiden KemoLoli, living in Zarpat. After meeting Rick, his life changes dramatically.
