Yokai Moon will offer players a turn-based strategy game with tower defense elements. The game takes inspiration from Japanese beliefs, incorporating their aesthetics and history. According to the local plot, the ordinary world was attacked by the otherworldly, which ultimately caused both dimensions to be plunged into chaos. The players' task is to resist the power of the Moon Yokai, otherwise the universe will be destroyed. To do this, they will have to endure 6 night waves, for which they can use magic and cold weapons.

At the Moon Market in Yokai Moon you can buy items, including:

• Scarred Kabuto – Absorbs every first hit from monsters.
• Maneki Neko – Yokai leave behind more gold when they die.
• Rice Portion – satisfies the main character’s hunger.
• Sake – Increases the character's attack power… maybe.
• Koro – Adds 1 point to fire magic attack.
• Tide Jewel – the power of water spells increases by 2 points.

With each attack, the enemy's strength will increase, so each time you will have to prepare more carefully. During the day, the main character builds his defense. To do this, it is important to collect the necessary resources, craft weapons and strengthen the walls of the house, which is the last outpost of the forces of good. While nothing threatens the character, you can plan the tactics of the battle with the invaders and analyze the failures of past waves. The game has about 20 residents who will help in the defense.
