Ys 6: The Ark of Napishtim is a classic representative of Japanese jRPGs with an anime style. The bright, colorful fantasy world is very welcoming to the player. Despite the fact that there is only one large location available here in the form of a lonely island, the field for exploration here is very large and will not let you get bored.

This game is not the first in the series and is plot-related to the previous ones. Main protagonist Adol Christin is finally reunited with his best friend Dogi and is ready to go on a new adventure with him. But their plans were disrupted, because upon entering the port they were met by the brave captain of the pirate ship Ladoc. He tells them about strange events on the Canaan Islands and invites them to go sailing with him. But unfortunately the ship is attacked and the hero is thrown overboard. It seems that he is doomed to death, but fate has other plans for him. Adol washes ashore on an island, where he is found by two pretty girls with long, pointy ears. During the course of the story, he will have to help them cope with various problems and reveal all the secrets of the local area.

Compared to previous installments, the combat system in Ys 6: The Ark of Napishtim has received noticeable changes. Now the player has three swords at his disposal, the abilities of which can differ greatly from each other. Combo attacks also depend on the chosen weapon; they can be used alternately to increase damage. When attacked by difficult opponents, combining skills helps you get out of a difficult situation.
