The user manages a young student from the fictitious city of Sakaimachi located in Japan. His family cannot be called prosperous. Mother died when the boy was still a teenager. The father was an outstanding historian, and did not pay due attention to the child. After the death of his wife, he married again. This act only worsened his relationship with his son. The character of the heroes and the relationship between them gradually reveals.

Once Takuya receives a mysterious letter from his father. A small device of unknown origin is attached to it. The note describes all the details of its use in order to wrap the time back. However, the device does not fully function, since it lacks several precious stones. Before going to search for them, the hero goes to meet an anonymous well -wisher. But having arrived at the indicated place, the guy finds only a naked blonde. The stranger kisses him and dies, leaving many questions. Final Yu-no: A girl who sings love on the border of this world depends on the decision of the gamer adopted. We will have to decide which of the previously described characters will make Takuya in this difficult adventure. All passage can take about 40 hours, as the short story is quite extensive.
