Zanki Zero: Last Beginning tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world where people are faced with a global catastrophe and the planet is flooded, leaving some islands in a dilapidated state. The heroes find themselves on the territory of the remains of land, where there are destroyed houses, cars and cracked asphalt all around. You will be able to choose one of 8 protagonists who live on a decaying island. During your travels, you will meet other characters and add them to your squad to increase your chances of survival.

The interactive story of Zanki Zero: Last Beginning combines elements of a visual novel in an anime style and the gameplay mechanics of a dungeon crawler, where you need to wander around the locations of the town and look for various useful items. You will be able to find food, drinks and equipment for a party of heroes to maintain their health at a normal level. 13 game days are allocated to complete the story, after which a cycle of rebirth of the soul into new clones occurs.

It is necessary to have time to upgrade the abilities and characteristics of each character so that when fighting with opponents you do not die at the beginning of the journey. There will be a variety of monsters on the map that guard the necessary materials or food that the protagonists are looking for. Battles are performed in real time, where the player observes the environment and opponents from a first-person perspective. You will be able to perform available actions and strikes for each of the team members in order to win the fight.
